The 2012 Patrol Year Starts Jan. 26th
First meeting will start recruiting effort
The 2012 West Bend Crime Prevention Patrol year will start with the January meeting on 01/26/2012. The regular meeting will start at 7:30 pm and the Executive meeting will start at 7:00 pm. Newly elected executive officers, please remember to arrive at 7:00 pm in the Conference Room outside the Chief''s office.
Those executive officers who are no longer on the board, please bring your collar pins so they can be given to and worn by the new executive officers.
In 2012, the Crime Prevention Patrol will be celebrating 35 years of volunteer service to the West Bend community!
I see 2012 having two main goals and focuses. First, will be recruitment. Unfortunately, we have lost a number of members due to resignations and with event and activity requests on the rise, we need to rebuild our numbers. We will be looking to recruit members who are able to assist with our many events throughout the year. If you know anybody interested, have them contact Lt. Lucka or Rich Kasten.
The second focus for 2012 will be training. In addition to our normal training consisting of OC Spray (Pepper Spray) refresher, trraffic control and radio usage, we will start looking at specific and possible interactions or situations that may arise during an event. As a group we will discuss what the expected actions on the Patrol members should be.
2012 will be another busy but exciting year for the Patrol!
